The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani is an all India Institution declared as Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act. 1956. Admissions to all the Integrated First Degree programmes of BITS, Pilani, at Pilani campus, Goa campus, and Hyderabad Campus for the academic year 2023-24 will be made on the basis of a Computer based Online Test conducted by BITS, Pilani. This test will be referred to as BITS Admission Test – 2023, in short as BITSAT-2023 Click Here For BITSAT Online Mock test Series Integrated First Degree Programmes to which admissions are made on the basis of BITSAT – 2023 (i) BITS, Pilani – Pilani Campus: (ii) BITS, Pilani – K. K. Birla Goa Campus: (iii) BITS, Pilani – Hyderabad Campus : BITSAT Eligibility : (i) For admission to all the above BITSAT programmes except B.Pharm. : Candidates should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and adequate proficiency in English. (ii) For admission to B.Pharm. : Candidates should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and adequate proficiency in English. However candidates with PCM may also apply for Pharmacy program. The candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects (if he/she has taken Mathematics in BITSAT) or a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects (if he/she has taken Biology in BITSAT) in 12th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology subjects. Only Students who are appearing for 12th examination in 2023 or who have passed 12th Examination in 2022 are eligible to appear in the BITSAT-2023 test. If a candidate has taken more than one attempt in 12th class or its equivalent, only his Latest performance is considered, provided this attempt has been for the full component of subjects/courses prescribed. Students who have passed 12th examination in 2021 or earlier are NOT eligible to appear in BITSAT-2023. Students who are presently studying in BITS at any of its campuses are not eligible to appear in BITSAT-2023. Direct Admission to Board Toppers: Plan of BITSAT Examination: All the BITSAT questions and instructions of the test will be in English only. In BITSAT, the questions are selected at random from a large question bank. Different candidates will get different question sets, but of same difficulty level and content. How to Apply For BITSAT 2023 Application Form: Click Here to Apply BITSAT 2023 BITSAT Application Fees: While filling out the online application form you will be asked for center preferences for writing the BITSAT-2023 exam. You can choose the centers from within India or Dubai or Kathmandu. If you choose centers within India or Kathmandu you will be asked to give three preferences and will be allotted one out of the three. If a candidate chooses Dubai as a center, he/she will not be asked for any other center preference and will be allotted Dubai center only as per the preference. A candidate who chooses to appear twice will have to pay a sum of Rs. 5400 (for a male candidate) and Rs. 4400 (for a female candidate). A candidate who originally opts to appear once (Session 1), will pay a fee of Rs. 3400 (for a male candidate) and Rs. 2900 (for a female candidate). If such a candidate chooses then to apply to appear a second time (Session 2), then he/she will have to pay an additional sum of Rs. 2000 (for a male candidate) and Rs. 1500 (for a female candidate). This application fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable. If a candidate chooses Dubai as a BITSAT test center the application fee for both male and female candidates will be same and will be Indian Rs.7000/-( Only 1st Session) & Rs.9000/- (Both 1st & 2nd Session). Applications for only BITSAT Session-2 would open during 23rd May to 12th June 2023.
